Pro Tools Automation Pack #4 - Clips
4th volume of a collection of commands I accumulated over the years in order to automate several things in Pro Tools. Detailed descriptions (where needed) can be found in the command descriptions.
Clips
A couple of commands that clear muted audio, MIDI and fade clips on the selected track or several tracks.
- Clear Muted Clips From Selected Track
- Clear Muted Clips From Several Tracks
The 1st command clears all muted audio, MIDI and fade clips from the currently selected track.
The 2nd command clears all muted audio, MIDI and fade clips from several tracks. It starts with the currently selected track, then prompts whether to proceed with the next track or not and if yes goes down a track to continue. It stops if no clips are found on the next track or if the user cancels.
- Separate Clip By Markers
This command separates a clip on a track by Markers. It will go through a number of Markers within the clip’s selection and separates the clip accordingly, it will then inform you via Notification Center when done.

- Snap Clip To Previous Clip
